01.02.09 Nothing much on this day...travelled from Newark Airport to Charlotte Airport in North Carolina...took the Continental Airlines...quite a small plane (1-2 seat)... The most interesting thing on this day is that this is the first time I'm driving in the streets of USA. It's quite confusing when you are driving on the wrong side of the road. It takes some time to get use to the left-hand driving position...the problem comes when you want to take a turn...you need to make sure that you are taking the correct lane, not the opposite...well, I made a mistake on my second turn (approached a car from the opposite direction) and luckily no one gets hurt...fuhh!!! Another thing, we rent a Pontiac G5 GT (that is what they've written at the back of the car 'GT'!!!)...I had a few choices...Toyota Yaris (boring!), Chevrolet Optra (boring!), Kia Rio(boring! boring! boring!)...and obviously this car is the most sportiest of them all! So then we drove up to Winston-Salem from Charlotte...about 1 hour drive...and I proudly to say that I managed to follow the speed limit through out the journey. The car was fantastic, really!
